Cooper, a former U.S. Naval Intelligence Briefing Team member, claimed his information came from top-secret documents and seventeen years of research. Cooper died in 2001 in a shootout with law enforcement, a scenario he had frequently warned would happen to him as a result of his efforts to expose these secrets.
