Organon of the Medical Art (originally Organon der Heilkunst), written by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann and first published in 1810, is the foundational text of homeopathy. It outlines a revolutionary system of medicine designed to treat the whole person rather than just suppressing symptoms, based on natural laws rather than arbitrary theories. The 6th edition, widely considered the most complete, was published posthumously and introduced refined methods such as the 50 Millesimal scale of potentization.
The Organon argues that homeopathy is not merely an alternative therapy, but a rational, scientific approach that stands apart from the "allopathic" method of suppressing symptoms.
