"50 Years in the Church of Rome" (1886) is the autobiographical account of Charles Chiniquy, a Canadian Catholic priest who served for 25 years before converting to Presbyterianism. He exposes deep corruption, moral failures, and idolatry within the priesthood, eventually leaving the church to follow Bible-based Christianity, leading thousands with him. The book is considered a significant anti-Catholic polemic from the 19th century.
